Mercedes Benz North Shore

Advance Fluid Control collaborated with Warren & Mahoney architects and the management team from Mercedes Benz North Shore to deliver a top-notch lubrication and air system that perfectly complemented the high-quality standards associated with the Mercedes brand. The project involved several components that greatly enhanced the overall aesthetics and functionality of the workshop.

To comply with Mercedes' global brand guidelines, 24 custom-coloured Meclube oil and water hose reels were installed. These reels not only met the brand requirements but also added a visually appealing touch to the workshop.

The project also involved the relocation of two 1500L oil tanks and a 2500L waste oil tank from the temporary site where they had been operating for 18 months. These tanks were successfully moved and placed on a mezzanine floor at the new location, ensuring secure and efficient storage.

In terms of the compressed air system, the piping was strategically routed over the hoists, and droppers were installed. Coiled air hoses were attached to the droppers to make it easy for technicians to access and use the compressed air whenever needed. This layout provided convenience and improved productivity in the workshop.

Additionally, an efficient waste oil extraction system was implemented. It was housed in a sleek black cabinet that included a stainless basin for draining used oil filters and other similar items. The system was equipped with a level alert feature that issued warnings when the waste oil tank reached a certain level and automatically shut off the pump once the tank was at maximum capacity. This ensured proper management and disposal of waste oil, promoting environmental responsibility.

Overall, the collaboration between Advance Fluid Control, Warren & Mahoney architects, and the management team from Mercedes Benz North Shore resulted in the successful implementation of a top-of-the-line lubrication and air system that aligned perfectly with the renowned quality associated with the Mercedes brand. The attention to detail, compliance with brand guidelines, and efficient functionality of the system have significantly enhanced the performance and aesthetic appeal of the workshop.
